Dr. Crawford initially started his career in equine medicine, but eventually settled into small animal practice. During the past decade, Dr. Crawford, along with his wife, Dr. Kelly Crawford were the owners of The Plymouth Animal Hospital and Pet Resort. They were able to grow the business from a single doctor practice with seven support staff to a four doctor practice with thirty-six employees. After leaving Plymouth Animal Hospital, Dr. Crawford has been consulting within the field of veterinary medicine on the local and national level. During that time, Dr. Crawford co-founded Veterinary Purchasing Group. Dr. Crawford's expertise lies in the designing and implementing of strategic business plans to ensure growth and future successful opportunities for the practice. His additional core strengths are in leadership management and executive and managerial coaching. Dr. Crawford obtained his B.S. from Ithaca College and received his doctorate at Tufts University, School of Veterinary Medicine.
